Bugaboo Bundles

Buying a pram is rarely one purchase. There is the frame, then the bassinet, then the rain cover you find out about in the first week of winter. A bundle puts the pieces that usually get bought anyway into a single order at a better price.

Pram and Capsule Sets

The largest group here pairs a Bugaboo frame with the Turtle capsule and the adapters that join them, so a sleeping baby moves between car and pram without being lifted out. The Dragonfly, Donkey, Kangaroo and Cub frames are all covered.

These are the sets to look at if you are buying before the birth, since a capsule has to be fitted in the car before you leave hospital. Sold this way it also removes the compatibility question, which is where most of the confusion in this category lives.

Essential and Ultimate Bundles

The essential bundles add the accessories people reach for daily: a cup holder, a comfort seat liner, a rain cover, the pieces that make the pram usable in the weather you actually have rather than the weather in the photographs.

The ultimate and newborn bundles go further, adding the bassinet or the fabrics that make a frame ready from birth. Working out which one you want is mostly a question of whether you are starting from a newborn or from a baby who can already sit up.

Bundles Beyond the Pram

The Giraffe high chair bundles sit in this collection too, pairing the chair with the newborn set or the pieces that carry it through to the toddler years, so the chair arrives ready for the stage your baby is at rather than the one after it.

There are travel pairings as well, matching a compact stroller with the Stardust travel cot for families who fly. Those are the two things a holiday actually needs, and buying them together is simpler than assembling the pair yourself.

When a Bundle Is Worth It

A bundle only saves money on the things you would have bought anyway, so it is worth reading what is in one before deciding. If two of the four items were already on your list, the maths usually works.

The other saving is time. One order, one delivery, one afternoon of setting things up, and no second trip for the adapter you did not know you needed. For a lot of families that is the part that matters more than the discount.

Contents differ between models and change as the range does, so the product page for each bundle lists exactly what is in it. That is the page to check against your own list before you order, rather than assuming two bundles with similar names hold the same pieces.
