FAQs
What age range is the Cybex Cloud Q suitable for?
The Cloud Q is designed for babies from birth to approximately 12 months. It is rear-facing only when used in the car and includes a removable newborn inlay for premature and very small babies.
How does the Cloud Q reclining backrest work?
Outside the car, the backrest reclines to create an ergonomic lie-flat position, making it easier to use the capsule as part of a travel system. Follow the instruction manual for correct operation and use.
Is the base included, and how is the capsule installed in the car?
Yes. The bundle includes the AU base unit, tether strap and anchor point. The base is secured to the vehicle’s rear seat using the vehicle seat belt; the capsule then snaps into the base and is secured with the tether strap. The Cloud Q must be used with the supplied base in the car. Follow the instruction manual for complete installation instructions.
Can the Cloud Q attach to other strollers?
Yes. It is compatible with Cybex stroller frames, including the Priam and Mios, and can attach to Bugaboo, Joolz and other stroller brands with a suitable adaptor. The product information does not specify individual stroller models or adaptor availability, so compatibility should be confirmed for your stroller before purchase.
How does the adjustable headrest support a growing baby?
The headrest adjusts through 11 positions and includes integrated harness guides, helping the capsule’s head and harness positioning adapt as your child grows.
