The BabyDan Guard Me White is a wall-mounted, auto-retracting safety gate designed for doorways, hallways and staircases. Its unique folding design creates a secure barrier when closed and folds away neatly when open, helping to keep your home clear without compromising on safety.

Fits a Wide Range of Openings
The Guard Me adapts to a variety of spaces depending on how it's installed:
- Inside a door frame: Fits openings from 64.5cm to 89cm
- Outside a door frame: Fits openings from 55cm to 79.5cm
- With the BabyDan Guard Me Extension (sold separately), coverage increases to 113.5cm (inside mounting) or 103.5cm (outside mounting).
Ideal for Stairs
With no bottom threshold to step over, the Guard Me is an excellent choice for stairways and busy walkways, helping to reduce trip hazards. When installed at the top of stairs, follow the manufacturer's minimum clearance requirements for safe installation.
Easy to Install
The gate mounts securely to a wall or door frame using screws. Installation is straightforward, and step-by-step video instructions are available through the free Onbox App to guide you through the process.
Neatly Retracts Away
Unlike traditional gates, the Guard Me automatically folds back when opened, leaving a wide, unobstructed walkway and a clean, modern appearance when not in use.
One-Hand Operation
The simple pull-and-press opening mechanism allows adults to operate the gate with one hand, making it easier to move through while carrying your child or other items.

Important Notes / Compliance
- If fitted inside a door frame BabyDan Guard Me can cover openings between 64.5-89 cm. With an extra extension (sold separately) it can cover openings up to 113.5 cm.
- If fitted on the outside of a door frame BabyDan Guard Me can cover openings between 55-79.5 cm. With an extra extension (sold separately) it can cover openings up to 103.5 cm.
- If installed on top of stairs there needs to be at least 9 cm from the gate's wall mounts to the edge of the top step.
- If extended with an extra extension (sold separately) the distance must be a minimum of 13 cm.
- This product is a wall-mounted safety gate that requires to be mounted with screws into a wall or door frame for correct and safe installation. Screws for wood are included in the package.
- If installed on a wall with skirting boards, a spacer on the wall that is at least as thick as the skirting boards is required for correct and secure installation.
- BabyDan has a secondary brand known as Dogspace, which utilises the same products and therefore your gate may arrive in this particular packaging.
