Baby View is compatible with vehicles that have:
- Built-in wired Apple CarPlay with a touchscreen
- Built-in wired Android Auto with a touchscreen
Baby View is not compatible with:
- Vehicles that only support wireless Apple CarPlay or wireless Android Auto
- BMW head units
- Sony head units
Some vehicles support both wired and wireless CarPlay/Android Auto. If your vehicle supports both, Baby View may still be compatible.
Using Android Auto
When using Android Auto, the baby camera view is displayed in full-screen mode only.
Navigation, phone calls, music and other Android Auto functions cannot be displayed at the same time as the baby camera feed.
Using Apple CarPlay
On compatible Apple CarPlay systems, Baby View supports Split Screen and Picture-in-Picture viewing, allowing you to continue using navigation, calls and other CarPlay functions while viewing your baby.
How To Check If Your Vehicle Is Compatible
The easiest way to check is to plug your phone into your vehicle using a USB data cable.
If Apple CarPlay or Android Auto only works when your phone is physically plugged in, your vehicle has a wired system.
If Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connects automatically without a cable, your vehicle may only have a wireless system and may not be compatible.
