Description

BabyBjorn Carrier One is a soft and ergonomic babywearing choice that makes it easy for you to give your baby the important closeness that strengthens your parent-child bond from day one. Choose whether you want to carry your child facing in (two height positions), facing out or on your back.

The carrier has a sturdy waist belt and padded shoulder straps that relieve pressure on your back and shoulders and make it comfortable for you to carry your child as a newborn and up to the age of three. The flexible fabric lets you both see and feel that you’re carrying your newborn baby in a natural position.

As baby grows, the carrier adjusts to properly support their hips, back, and neck at each stage of development. The built-in infant insert includes two height positions to ensure your baby is carried in the correct position, close to your face. Your baby should be close enough for you to kiss the top of their head. Your baby sits safely and comfortably – while you keep your hands free!

FOUR FRONT AND BACK CARRYING POSITIONS

Optimal height position for newborns. There is a special inward-facing carrying position for newborns to allow you to carry your baby high up on your chest and close to your heart. This provides you with eye contact and all-important closeness, while allowing you to monitor your child’s breathing.

Lower height position for older babies. After about four months, it’s time to start using the lower height position. For added comfort, you can adjust the width of the leg openings in the inward-facing position.

Outward-facing option. From five months onwards, you can fold the head support down and carry your child in an outward-facing position, or switch between the two. At this age, the child’s neck, hips and spine are sufficiently developed for the child to be carried in this position. Babies delight in discovering the world while safely resting against mum or dad’s chest.

Simple and secure back carrying position from 12 months. With the child facing inwards, swivel the whole baby carrier from front to back. The shoulder straps will remain on your body like a closed loop, ensuring that your child is secure during the process. Simple, safe and comfortable – all in one easy movement. Max. 15 kg/100 cm.
