By Baby Village on 17 December 2018

Travelling with your tribe can be challenging! There’s already so much you have to take with you, whether you’re heading out-and-about or jetting off overseas. Fortunately travel strollers are continually being improved; lighter in weight, more compact fold, and more inclusions for better value. With so many great options though, how do you choose the right one for you and your travelling tribe?

At Baby Village we know strollers! So we’ve narrowed down our top picks for the Best Travel Strollers available in 2018 to help you make the decision easier. Some points you should consider are:

  • Is it for travel or a compact solution for everyday use?
  • What's the budget you have to work with?
  • If travelling, where are you going and how will you get there? Car or plane?
  • What will you be doing and what’s the weather going to be like? Do you need a rain cover?

The Babyzen Yoyo+ is considered to be top-notch when travelling by plane. It is extremely compact when folded that a lot of airline companies consider them as cabin luggage. They’re also very lightweight at about 6.2kg so it’s also easy to lug it around when not in use. This stroller grows with the baby as it can be used for a newborn, and as they grow into toddlers.  The only thing that might deter parents from getting this one is the price. It’s a guarantee that travelling will certainly have you spending a lot and getting this stroller may already put a dent in your budget before you’ve even left the house.  However, if there are two young ones in the family, the Yoyo+ Board can be easily attached to the back of the stroller that will allow a toddler to sit or stand on it. No more sore or tired arms for having to carry your little ones everywhere. So really, it’s like getting 2 strollers with just the one.
