See Sculpture by the Sea with your Bub & Ergobaby

By Baby Village on 25 November 2017

The spectacular coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Tamarama is transformed each Spring into the largest free outdoor art exhibition featuring 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world. In 2017 this iconic seaside event will run from Thursday 19 October - Sunday 5 November 2017, and the best way to see it is with your Bub!

If you’re not familiar with the route, the pathway can be narrow in places, and there are quite a few sets of stairs, so for Mums with Bubs this can pose a challenge. Our recommendation is to ditch the pram and take Bub along for the ride in a Carrier or Wrap!

Key tips from ellaslist.com.au to enjoy the walk with your Bub include:

  1. Get there early on weekends – especially if the weather’s fine! Crowds start to gather from 8.30am and you’ll be lucky to take your pics without someone else’s head in the frame!
  2. Make it a mid-week outing – get your Mother’s group together and hit the pathway off-peak! It makes for a nice alternative to your usual get together – instead take your coffee with you!
  3. Plan your walk – pick your start (and end) point and either take advantage of public transport, or plan your parking so you can have a car at each end, so you don’t have to double back.
