The Comfi-Cruiser is recognised not only for its safety but its comfortable seating features. This newly released model has replaced the Trek 8 model that recently received a top rating in the Child Restraint Evaluation Program (CREP) test. It's safety features offers increased protection to infants when travelling, such as a high back rest which helps to protect the back and head portion of children in accidents. It includes an adjustable padded head rest, shoulder and pelvis pads, seat protector, padded armrest, and 3 slots to adjust harnesses. The booster seat features a top tether harness, and ananti-sunmarine seat design.
The Infa-Secure Research Team has designed an optimal belt path which has improved the routing of the seat belt giving an even greater level of stability and reducing forward movement on impact in an accident. The strong blow moulded construction also helps absorb the energy in an accident with large absorbing side wings for side impact protection. Suitable from 6m - 7years.
Why plastic blow mould?
Many years of analytical research on child restraints has led Infa to believe the outstanding results achieved in plastic blow-moulded child restraints. These performances have now been proven in numerous test results throughout the world and many restraint manufacturers are now following this technique.
While side impact collisions are not the most significant, substantial injuries can still be caused due to the head region contacting blunt objects that don’t give any tolerance on impact. This is why extensive side impact testing is required by SAI Global (Australian Standards) and every restraint certified accordingly.
Infa believe the double-layered plastic skin on blow-moulded restraints performs better than single-layered plastic skinned restraints in absorption on impact, creating a cushion effect.
